Day by day

  1. Day 1: Islamabad to Bahrain

    Motorway to Swat via the Swat Expressway. Afternoon arrival in Bahrain, evening beside the river.

  2. Day 2: Bahrain to Kalam

    Short but slow mountain drive up to Kalam. Afternoon at Ushu Forest among the deodar cedars.

  3. Day 3: Mahodand Lake

    Full day jeep excursion to Mahodand Lake through Ushu valley. Boating, trout lunch by the water, back to Kalam for the evening.

  4. Day 4: Return to Islamabad

    Breakfast and the long drive home down the valley, arriving Islamabad in the evening.
