Day by day

  1. Day 1: Islamabad to Keran

    Drive via Muzaffarabad and up the Neelum valley to Keran, on the riverbank.

    Stay: Hotel or riverside camp in KeranMeals: Dinner

  2. Day 2: Keran to Sharda

    Continue upriver to Sharda. Afternoon at the ancient Sharda Peeth ruins.

  3. Day 3: Kel and Arang Kel

    Morning drive to Kel, then chairlift and a walk up to Arang Kel village on the meadow above. Return to Kel or Sharda for the night.

  4. Day 4: Return to Islamabad

    Long drive back down the valley to Islamabad.
